Mahmut Gürtuna,

Born 1951, İstanbul. 1973, Graduated from Hacettepe Üniversity – Chemical Engineering, Msc. in Universite Libré de Bruxelles Belgium.

Professional life started in Esso Refinery in Antwerp as Project and Process Engineer. Continued in Alarko Holding, Tekfen Construction and Manufacturing Company as Project and design engineer. 

Between 1979-1996 worked in The Shell Company of Turkey Ltd. assuming responsibilities in sales and marketing of Fuels and Lubricants, Lubricants Production Planning, Supply and Logistics in his power as Senior Manager.

1982-1986, he was seconded to Shell-Sabancı JV, mineral water bottling company, namely SUSA, as the first Marketing Manager of the company. During this period he assumed principal responsibilities in all phases of the Project, from water source identification through bottling plant construction and finally marketing and sales of the product, establishing dealer network, logistics capacity etc. as Senior Manager.

Between 1996-2000 self employed, he worked as a Marketing Consultant for Total Türkiye A.Ş also selling Total fuel and lubricants. Between 2000-2012 he worked in Petrol Ofisi A.Ş assumed various responsibilities as Senior Manger in Sales and Marketing, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Production Planning and Supply and Logistics.  

Between 2012-2015 He worked in Sarten Ambalaj Sanayi A.Ş, the largest tin and plastic container manufacturer in Turkey . In his power as consultant to the company owner and also CEO, also undertaking the responsibilities as Executive Supply and Logistic Director of the company.
