Uğur Parmaksız,

Born in 1955, in Urfa, Graduated from Marmara University and post-graduated from Business Administration Programme of Business Administration Faculty of Istanbul University.
 
Attended some banking courses abroad in London, City University and Manchester, Manchester Business School. Worked as an Internal Auditor, an Assistant Manager and a Group Manager in Isbank, Turkey between 1981-1997. He is among the founders of Retail Banking Department in Isbank.
 
After Isbank experience, He worked for a private bank as an Assistant Genaral Manager and as a General Manager in two consumer finance companies. Lectured several seminars to primarily Ziraatbank and some state-owned and private banks’ employees since 2002.
 
Appointed by Creditor Banks and Savings Deposit Insurance Fund, as a Supervisor to the Financial Restructuring of a well-known holding company and its subsidiaries between 2003-2007 in Turkey. He is currently working for many companies- medium and large scaled- in different sectors as Financial Management Advisor, Interim Management Advisor, Financial Restructing Advisor and Marketing Management Advisor.
 
He is Certified Public Accountant, Independent Auditor and Certified Translator. He is married with two children.
 
He is currently studying Law and various foreign languages (including Ottoman Language).
