İlker Erel

İlker Erel,

İlker Erel was born in 1955. He graduated from Ege University Business Administration Department Marketing branch and studied English in England.  

After preparatory professional marketing and sales jobs in tourism and retailing sectors, he worked in the family business, which is manufacturing industry especially for automotive and machine industries, and acquired 20 years of experience in almost all management levels (1978 – 1998) such as sales representative, marketing specialist, accounting instructor, dealer coordinator, business and factory manager and general manager.  

As a supplier to automotive and domestic appliance industries, he developed projects nearly for 10 years, and during his general management he worked as the sole authorized in establishment of accounting, quality, new factory organization, domestic dealers, foreign license and distributorship organizations. Currently he still works as a foreign affairs consultant on the board of directors.

Since 1998, he works as a sales and marketing coordinator in a furniture company selling and producing mainly for importation and also works mainly in shopping mall stores, Show rooms and foreign brands launching.  

Moreover, he gives consultancy to the board of directors of companies about foreign affairs and lectures Business Management and Communication in Yeditepe University and Middle East Technical University; and Integrated Marketing Communication, New Trends in Marketing and Advanced Seminar in Marketing master’s degree classes.  

He holds NLP master and educator certificates and gives coaching to business owners and managers. Erel is married and has a son.
