Cengiz Diren,

Cengiz Diren, born in Istanbul, started working in Istanbul Bank, as Assistant Inspector, in 1976 following his graduation from Haydarpaşa High School and Istanbul Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences, Business Administration Department.

Afterwards, Diren, who worked respectively as Inspector, Vice President of Board of Inspectors and Centre Branch Manager in Vakıflar Bankası T.A.O, switched to Alarko Group of Companies as Financial Planning Manager, in 1986.  

Cengiz Diren, started working in 1990, in Batı Sigorta A.Ş., as Vice General Manager in charge of Financial and Administrative Affairs, and became Head Assistant General Manager and Member of Board of Directors in 1991, and General Manager of the same company in October 1999.  

Diren, who retired in May 2008 from Batı Sigorta, as General Manager, still works as “Arbitrator” in Insurance Arbitration Commission.
